The Davis Senior High School Aquatics Center project, completed for Davis Joint Unified School District in Davis, California, involved the demolition of several existing portable classrooms to make way for a state-of-the-art aquatics facility. The centerpiece of the project is a new 50-meter pool designed to support competitive swimming and community events. The project also included the construction of two one-story buildings, bleachers with a metal canopy for spectator seating, and event poles with lighting to enhance functionality for evening activities. Select campus fiber optic modernization was implemented to improve connectivity and infrastructure. The facility was constructed on concrete footings with a structural frame of cold-formed metal and structural steel. The exterior features a combination of masonry and metal paneling, topped with a durable single-ply roof. The completed project reflects a commitment to delivering high-quality, purpose-built facilities that enhance both athletic performance and campus infrastructure.
