The Nicholas Elementary School Replacement project, completed for Sacramento City Unified School District in Sacramento, CA, involved the full replacement of the existing elementary school campus. The work began with the demolition of 18 portable classrooms and a 20-room, 42,000-square-foot building to make way for the new 57,719-square-foot facility designed to accommodate up to 650 students. The new campus features a multipurpose room, STEAM lab, community room, multiple shade canopies, and a U14 soccer field, all designed with a focus on energy efficiency and environmental stewardship. As one of the first new schools constructed in Sacramento City Unified School District in nearly two decades, Nicholas Elementary School now stands as a modern, inspiring, and sustainable learning environment that enhances both educational experiences and community pride.
