The Covillaud Elementary School Modernization project, constructed for Marysville Joint Unified School District, included site improvements to the existing campus and the new construction of a two-story, 22,174-square-foot elementary school building in Marysville, CA. Site improvements included utilities, landscaping, parking, walkways, and fire lanes. The 16-classroom building was constructed on a concrete footings foundation with a structural steel frame, a masonry exterior, and a single-ply roof. Covillaud Elementary School is the first new building for the school since 1950 and CORE is honored to be a part of this historic transformation.
