The Patrick F. Taylor Science and Technology Academy project, built for the Jefferson Parish Public School System, included the new construction of a three-story, 122,723-square-foot middle-high school campus located in Westwego, LA. The facility supports over 450 students and houses a classroom building, conference center, and performing arts center. The project also features an athletic field, laboratories, library, and administrative offices. The school’s campus was constructed on a wood composite foundation with a concrete column and steel structural frame, pre-engineered metal truss roofing system, and exterior finishes of concrete masonry unit walls, aluminum composite material panels, and aluminum curtain. The Patrick F. Taylor Science and Technology Academy now provides a state-of-the-art facility for academic excellence.
