The Advanced Manufacturing Training Facility for Mohave Community College has brought a state-of-the-art, 35,501-square-foot, two-story pre-engineered metal building to the Kingman, AZ campus. Designed to prepare students for high-demand careers, the facility features welding, manufacturing, and fabrication classrooms equipped with an overhead crane and advanced welding exhaust systems. Additional spaces include HVAC, VR/CAD, and technology classrooms, instructor offices, and makerspace classrooms open to the community. Outside, the campus now boasts a truck driving course, paint booth, and convenient on-site parking. This dynamic facility expands hands-on learning opportunities while strengthening the connection between the College and the region’s workforce needs. Recognized for its transformative impact, the facility was honored with the prestigious Higher Education and Workforce Development Project of the Year at the RED Awards, showcasing its role in advancing education and workforce development in the region.
