The Northern Arizona University (NAU) Student-Athlete High-Performance Center project, completed in Flagstaff, AZ, included new construction of a 70,000-square-foot athletics facility serving student-athletes, coaches, and fans. The facility includes a public welcome area with the NAU Hall of Fame and box office; practice gymnasiums; strength and conditioning, sports medicine, altitude training, and recovery spaces; a nutrition station; lockers and team lounges; coaching offices; and academic support areas.
Constructed on a concrete foundation, the facility features a pre-engineered metal building and steel structural frame, insulated metal panel exterior finishes, and metal and membrane roof systems. Developed through a collaboration between NAU Athletics and the College of Health and Human Services, the completed facility supports athletic performance, fan engagement, and educational opportunities for NAU students.
