The Desert Horizon Elementary School Renovation Phase 2 project, constructed for the Pendergast Elementary School District, involved a major renovation of the Phoenix, AZ campus. The project included the demolition of the existing classroom buildings, portables, administration building, and library, along with selective site demolition. New classroom buildings for grades K-8 and a new administration building were constructed. The parking lot was expanded into a bus loop and a separate student dropoff loop to reduce the congestion they were dealing with on this campus. Additionally, the project included the relocation of the existing MDF systems and central electrical distribution panel, previously housed in the library. General site utilities were revamped to accommodate the new campus layout, ensuring the infrastructure supports the updated design. Shade canopies and playground equipment were picked up in scope via an owner change order.
