The City of Flagstaff Core Services Maintenance Facility project included the new construction of a 75,600-square-foot municipal maintenance facility located in Flagstaff, AZ. The facility supports five buildings consisting of administration, fleet maintenance, streets maintenance, and solid waste maintenance units as well as vehicle and equipment staging areas. The project features paved areas, new utility infrastructure, and a new sewer main. The project also included the off-site widening of historic Route 66, clearing of 1,200 trees, and grading. This project achieved LEED Silver Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for energy efficiency and sustainable features. The facility was constructed on a slab-on-grade concrete foundation with pre-engineered metal buildings. A metal wall panel exterior and standing seam roof completed the construction. The City of Flagstaff Core Services Maintenance Facility now provides a safe and reliable facility for the housing of heavy vehicles and equipment.
