The Marionneaux Elementary School project, built for Buckeye Elementary School District No. 33, included the new construction of an 85,715-square-foot elementary school campus located in Buckeye, AZ. The campus houses three separate buildings containing administrative offices and classrooms for kindergarten through fifth grade, middle school classrooms for intermediate grades, and a multipurpose building with a gymnasium, a cafeteria, and a library. The school features new carpeting and polished concrete floors, a science, engineering, technology, and mathematics (STEM) laboratory, athletic fields, and outdoor play areas. The project also included the construction of adjacent fire lanes and half-street improvements to West Roeser Road on the north side of the campus. Construction consisted of a slab-on-grade concrete foundation with a metal stud and masonry structural frame. An exterior insulation and finish system with a concrete masonry unit veneer and a foam roof completed the construction. The Marionneaux Elementary School project now provides state-of-the-art interactive technologies for academic learning for students, as well as flexible working spaces for faculty and staff.
