The Daisy Mountain Fire Station No. 145 and Administration Building project included the new construction of a 22,000-square-foot public safety complex located in Phoenix, AZ. The facility houses a 7,500-square-foot administration building and a 11,850-square-foot fire station. Construction included the demolition of an existing fire station, which was built in 2001, and the remaining footprint was used for the new fire station, dorm rooms, triage rooms, and covered parking. The administration building features offices, conference rooms, and exterior covered patios. Both buildings of the public safety complex were constructed on a spread footings and slab-on-grade concrete foundation with a wood structural frame. An exterior insulation and finish system and a concrete tile roof completed the construction. The Daisy Mountain Fire Station No. 145 and Administration Building project now accommodates over 100 fire department personnel in two centralized, structurally sound locations and support the needs of the surrounding community.
