The Fairview Elementary School Replacement project, completed for Sherman Independent School District, included the demolition of the existing academic facility and the new construction of a two-story, 123,786 square-foot elementary school in Sherman, TX. The new campus houses classrooms, fine arts and music spaces, a cafeteria, a media center, athletics, and administration. The campus also features multiple playground areas, an exterior basketball court, and a 150+ space parking lot. Fairview Elementary was constructed on a slab-on-grade foundation and features an ICF storm shelter, steel framing, a masonry exterior with metal panels, and modified bitumen roofing. The completed replacement elementary school now provides innovative, creative, and engaging learning experiences for students of the expanding Sherman, TX community.
