The Town of Queen Creek Fire Station No. 1 and Public Safety Facility project included the demolition of aging municipal structures and the new construction of a 13,400-square-foot fire station and a 22,400-square-foot public safety and multipurpose facility in Queen Creek, AZ. The facility houses the Queen Creek Fire Department Battalion Chief, Fire Station No. 1, public safety, community chambers, and law enforcement headquarters. It supports 12 dormitories, administrative offices, and three apparatus bays. The public safety complex was constructed of a slab-on-grade foundation with a steel frame, architectural masonry with metal wall panels for the exterior finish, and a combination of metal and foam roofing. By consolidating crucial municipal and emergency services into one location, the Town of Queen Creek Fire Station No. 1 and Public Safety Facility project is now providing service to a rapidly growing population.
