The Sun City Fire Station No. 133 project, built for the Sun City Fire and Medical Department, included the new construction of a two-story, 16,248-square-foot fire station located in Youngtown, AZ. The facility houses a three drive-through aparatus bays, a back-end bay for the battalion chief, 12 dormitories, a community room, a fitness room, two dayrooms, and a training room. The fire station was constructed on a slab-on-grade concrete foundation with a masonry and steel structural frame, an exterior of masonry block covered with stucco, and a foam roof. the Sun City Fire Station No. 133 project now provides an upgraded, functional, and contemporary space for the firefighters serving the Youngtown community.
