The Virgin Valley High School project, completed for the Clark County School District, included select demolition, renovations, and new additions to the 147,257-square-foot high school campus located in Mesquite, NV. The facility supports over 700 students in ninth through 12th grade. The project featured upgrades to the school’s heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, remodels to the school’s interiors to include ceramic tile in the restrooms and fiberglass reinforced panels and trim, and the constructon of a performing arts center with an aluminum storefront exterior windows and fixed seating. Other work consisted of an asphalt paved parking lot with pavement markings. The high school campus was constructed on a concrete foundation with a structural steel frame and an exterior of concrete masonry unit walls finished with stucco. A TPO roof completed the construction.
