The George E. Harris Elementary School Replacement project, built for Clark County School District, included the new construction of a 100,333-square-foot facility on a developed 8.67-acre parcel in Las Vegas, NV. The project featured a two-story classroom building with 47 classrooms, administrative offices, a multipurpose room, library, courtyard, parking lot, bus drop-off, student drop off lanes, a playground and turf play areas. The project also included relocation of existing power feed, demolition of existing portables, abatement and demolition of the existing school buildings, site work, off-site curbs and gutters, and demolition/extension of existing wet and dry utilities. The new facility was constructed on a concrete foundation supported by footings with a load-bearing masonry and structural steel framing, an exterior comprised of exterior insulation and finish system and masonry, and a single-ply roof
