The Town of Normal Fire Station No. 2 is a new 10,800-square-foot public safety facility designed to improve fire and emergency services for residents in northeast Normal, IL. Built to support both emergency response and firefighter wellness, the station includes dedicated spaces such as a watch room, dayroom, and fitness area that help crews stay connected, prepared, and ready to serve their community. The facility features concrete footings, cold-formed metal framing and steel bar joists in the living quarters, structural masonry and steel bar joists in the apparatus bays, a masonry exterior, and a TPO roof. Strategically relocated to the growing northeast portion of the community, the station helps reduce emergency response times and improve coverage for area residents.
