The East Peoria Civic Complex project, built for the Fondulac Library District, included the new construction of a two-story, 40,000 square foot municipal services complex located in East Peoria, IL. The facility houses the City of East Peoria and the Fondulac Public Library. The municipal services complex was constructed on a cast-in-place concrete foundation with a structural steel frame. An exterior of cut stone veneer on masonry block walls, brick, and aluminum storefront windows with a preformed metal roof completed the construction. The project also features city council chambers for business, a single-story shared lobby with an atrium consisting of glazed windows, common restrooms, a stainless steel drive up book return receptacle, public meeting rooms for events, special events, and programs as well as a courtyard with concrete walkways, landscaping, and a bandshell. Due to CORE’s civic construction expertise, the East Peoria Civic Complex project provides modernized public services in the city’s Levee District.
