The College Station City Hall project, built for the City of College Station, included the demolition of two existing City Hall buildings, new construction of a three-story, 79,000-square-foot City Hall building, and site work/restoration of the area in College Station, TX. This project was a reminiscent of a train station to reflect College Station’s history. The facility now supports around 200 employees with staff offices, a public meeting space, parking, and a one-acre plaza designed for events and public use. The facility was constructed on concrete piers foundation, with a steel structural frame, a masonry exterior, and an a single-ply metal panel roof. The building now represents “traditional Texas architecture” using red brick, a pitched roof, arches, and a clock tower.
