The Frisco High School Addition and Renovation project, built for the Frisco Independent School District, included various additions and renovations to the 85,000-square-foot high school campus. The project involved the renovation of the geothermal drilling, the installation of a new geothermal heating and cooling system, new parking areas, and paving. CORE also constructed a new classroom wing, gymnasium, and auditorium. The high school was constructed on a slab-on-grade and structural concrete foundation with a steel structural frame, an exterior consisting of masonry block and metal panels, and a built-up roof. Due to CORE’s project coordination, the Frisco High School Addition and Renovation project was completed safely while the campus was fully occupied, with minimal disruption to educational operations.
