The Charlestown Elementary School project, located in Charlestown, IN, is an exciting new campus constructed for Greater Clark County Schools. The two-story elementary school spans 125,000 square feet and accommodates 1,400 pre-kindergarten through fifth-grade students. The campus features ample instructional space and common areas, a state-of-the-art kitchen and gymnasium, and outdoor amenities. Charleston Elementary School was constructed upon a concrete footings foundation with a cold formed metal, load-bearing masonry, and structural steel frame. An exterior of curtain wall, masonry, and metal paneling with a single-ply roof completes the elementary school.
