The West Las Vegas Library project, completed for Clark County Las Vegas Library District, includes the new construction of a two-story, 43,361-square-foot structure on a 5.25-acre site in Las Vegas, NV. The new facility offers an outdoor event plaza, an event center, study rooms, a podcast room, a multimedia lab, creation labs, and more. The facade is made up of exposed CMU, EIFS, metal panels, and storefront glazing and include an LED panel for visual media and community messaging. A courtyard incorporates miscellaneous steel and architectural features with metal panels for shade. The West Las Vegas Library has served the Historic Westside for over 50 years and this library provides more educational resources and programs for literacy, learning, heritage-based celebrations, along with fun experiences for community members of all ages in its new state-of-the-art facility.
