The Virgin Valley High School Gymnasium Expansion project, built for Clark County School District, included the new construction of a 28,000-square-foot athletic facility located in Mesquite, NV. The interior of the facility includes wood flooring, athletic equipment, and bleacher seating for 2,200 attendees. In addition to the new building, the project involved selective demolition, the relocation of existing utilities, and a fire lane access road to the south of the school. The gymnasium addition was constructed with a concrete masonry unit and steel joist structural frame, concrete masonry unit and stucco exterior, and a single-ply roof system. The Virgin Valley High School Gymnasium Expansion now serves as an athletic venue for both school athletics and community events.
