The Lander County School District Campus Improvements project included select demolition, renovations, and additions to multiple schools throughout the district, as well as the new construction of a 37,780-square-foot elementary school located in Battle Mountain, NV. The elementary school was constructed on a foundation of slab-on-grade spread concrete supported by spread footings, a structural frame of concrete masonry unit block with wood steel joists, an exterior of metal panels with concrete masonry unit and storefront, and a TPO and standing seam roof. The project also included a library addition, extensive site work of a synthetic football field, and an eight-lane running track for an existing school campus. The Lander County School District Campus Improvement project now provides state-of-art school facilities for students to achieve athletic and academic success.
