The Coeur d’Alene Police Headquarters Remodel and Expansion project, completed in Coeur d’Alene, ID, encompassed a comprehensive upgrade and extension of the existing facility. This initiative included a 5,384-square-foot expansion, providing new, state-of-the-art locker rooms for both men and women. These locker rooms are equipped with day lockers, showers, and restroom facilities, enhancing comfort and functionality for the police force. Additionally, the former locker room has been transformed into a modern 1,100-square-foot office space, designed to accommodate up to 10 CDA Police staff members, ensuring a more efficient and organized working environment. Exterior enhancements feature a brick veneer finish, contributing to the aesthetic appeal and durability of the building. The site improvements include an expanded secure parking area with 39 new parking spaces, asphalt pavement, and a paved secure entryway on the north end of the building. This new entryway provides additional access to Schrieber Way, improving traffic flow and eliminating potential chokepoints. This expansion and remodel project significantly enhances the operational capabilities of the Coeur d’Alene Police Department, providing the necessary space and facilities to better serve the growing community.
