The Northwest Transportation Facility project, built for the Clark County School District, included the new construction of a 52,500-square-foot school transportation complex located in Las Vegas, NV. The facility supports one of five bus and maintenance yards for the district’s Department of Transportation and houses approximately 500 school buses and activity vehicles. The facility includes storage and maintenance areas, an administration building, a state-of-the-art bus wash facility, and a fueling station with islands. The school transportation complex project also included extensive site work consisting of one mile of paved road, a concrete masonry unit retaining wall, street improvements, and new utility lines for water, gas, and sewer.
