The Ralph and Betty Engelstad Health Sciences Building Addition project, built for the College of Southern Nevada, included select demolition and the addition of a two-story, 18,742-square-foot classroom building located on the Charleston Campus in Las Vegas, NV. The facility houses the college’s Cardiorespiratory Sciences Program and the Office of Health Programs Advising. This project includes a student lounge area, a café, classrooms, computer and science laboratories, faculty offices, and medical examination rooms. The classroom building was constructed with sustainable elements, such as enhanced day-lighting to provide energy-efficient lighting options. The Ralph and Betty Engelstad Health Sciences Building Addition now provides a state-of-the-art, student-centered learning environment for collegiate success in the healthcare field.
