The Mt. Pulaski High School project included the new construction of a two-story, 83,600-square-foot addition to the existing campus located in Mt. Pulaski, IL. The school replaced the existing 100-year-old building and connected the remaining portion of the high school building to the new facility. The modern campus features a new gymnasium, locker room, and an open-concept library. The addition was constructed on a concrete footing foundation with structural steel framing, a masonry and precast concrete exterior, and a single-ply roof. CORE worked closely with Mt. Pulaski School District during preconstruction, providing options on nearly every aspect of the project. CORE maintained the budget while achieving the vision of a modern learning environment which facilitates student growth and academic achievement.
