The OSF Almost Home Kids Facility, built for OSF HealthCare Systems, included the new construction of a 21,300-square-foot healthcare facility located in Peoria, IL. The facility houses 12 rooms for children with complicated health needs who require additional care after being discharged from the hospital and their families. The facility includes a large dining area, video conference room, and multiple family rooms. It also includes walking trails, playgrounds, and parking lots. The OSF Almost Home Kids Facility now provides a welcoming, comfortable setting for transitional care for children with medical complexities, and training and respite care for family members.
