The Lee Martinez Elementary School and Little Hippos Child Development Center project for Hutto Independent School District has delivered a vibrant new campus in Hutto, TX. The 135,000-square-foot facility features a dedicated pre-K wing, two-story classroom wings, a media center, an outdoor basketball court, and two expansive outdoor learning and playground areas. Built on a slab-on-grade foundation with a structural steel frame, the school is wrapped in a modern metal panel and masonry façade and topped with a durable modified bituminous roof. Now complete, Lee Martinez Elementary and the Little Hippos Center provide dynamic, engaging spaces designed to support and inspire Hippo Nation’s youngest learners.
