The Pig and Pork Education Center project, built for Pig and Pork Education Center, Inc., included the new construction of a 7,800 square foot educational center located in Fair Oaks, IN. The facility functions as an interactive museum with hands-on exhibits regarding pig biology and pork production for Fair Oaks Farms. The educational center was constructed on a cast-in-place concrete foundation with a pre-engineered metal structural frame. A corrugated sheathing exterior and standing seam roof completed the construction. Highlights of the project include exhibit space, offices, and an outdoor patio as well as gravel driveways, a carport, and a water detention pond. The Pig and Pork Education Center now educates members of the community on the food and non-food uses of pork in a state-of-the-art facility.
