The Moana Springs Community Aquatics and Fitness Center, constructed for the City of Reno, stands as a beacon of wellness and recreation in Reno, NV. This cutting-edge, 50,000-square-foot facility redefines community fitness and aquatic experiences. The facilty was built in two meticulously planned phases. The project began with comprehensive site work, new parking lots, and utility installations, culminating in the construction of a state-of-the-art aquatics and fitness center. This vibrant hub features two indoor pools, a world-class 50-meter competition pool, a versatile multiuse pool, a 5,000-square-foot fitness center, and a tranquil outdoor soaking pool. It was constructed on a concrete footings foundation with a precast concrete and structural steel frame. The center features an exterior comprised of structural steel, precast panels, curtain walls, and precast concrete, all topped with a single-ply roof, seamlessly blending durability with modern aesthetics. Designed to inspire and serve, the Moana Springs Community Aquatics and Fitness Center has become a cherished destination, maximizing aquatic opportunities and fostering a healthier, more connected community.
