The Dundee Jones Park project, built for the City of Henderson, included the new construction of a 3,659,040-square-foot park, located in Henderson, NV. The project consisted of drainage channel work, and to commence construction, reinforced concrete box type drainage was erected through the middle of the park connecting to existing drainage at the north and south street connections. The project featured new walk/run paths, two dog parks, fitness nodes, playgrounds, shade structures, pickleball courts, and a new splash pad. It was constructed on a cast-in-place and concrete foundation, a concrete block, load-bearing masonry, a structural steel frame, a concrete block and masonry exterior, and a metal panel roof. The park is dedicated to the memory of Dundee Jones and has numerous features that reflect his love for fly fishing including metal trout throughout rock streams, fly fishing reel themes, and a fly fisherman in concrete.
