The John F. Miller School project included the new construction of a 73,496-square-foot building located in Las Vegas, NV. The facility houses 120 students with disabilities, ages three to 22 years old. This project features protected outdoor courtyards with extra day lighting and play opportunities, wide hallways to accommodate wheelchair or walking equipment, wheelchair swings, medical offices, and a library. The school was constructed with a tilt-up panel structure, exterior metal cladding, and a tactile surface, visual stimuli equipped interior. John F. Miller School now provides the largest health care office in the District for medically fragile and disabled students.
