The Advanced Engineering Building project, completed for the State Public Works Division, included the new construction of a three-story, 52,313-square-foot educational facility at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The building houses classrooms dedicated to engineering research and education. The project also included a new courtyard with gathering spaces, an aviary enclosure for drone testing, and underground utility tie-ins to the existing central plant. This monumental structure was constructed on the busy campus upon a concrete foundation, and it features a structural steel frame, a curtain wall and metal panel exterior, and a single-ply roof.
