The Gwendolyn Woolley Elementary School Classroom Addition project, built for Clark County School District, included renovations as well as a 31,000-square-foot classroom addition to elementary school’s active campus located in Las Vegas, NV. The facility supports 22 classrooms for kindergarten, special education, and science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) programs. The project also featured the integration of a low voltage and informational network system to informationally connect the building addition with the existing school. The classroom addition was constructed on a slab-on-grade concrete foundation with a steel and concrete masonry unit block structural frame, a concrete masonry unit block exterior, and a membrane roof. The Gwendolyn Woolley Elementary School Classroom Addition now accommodates a growing student body in a modern and technologically equipped facility.
