The Gallery at North Port project included the new construction of a high-end independent living, assisted living, and memory care community in North Port, FL. This pet-friendly campus features a three-story, 173,089-square-foot building that houses 167 units, as well as four separate independent living tri-plex buildings and four independent living quad-plex buildings, totaling in 195 units across the campus’ palm tree studded grounds. This award-winning retirement community offers 24-hour assistance in addition to amenities such as a resort-style swimming pool, bocce ball court, walking trails, a beauty salon, fitness areas, and social gathering spaces. The community gained its name for its investment in local art, and residents as well as members of the community can enjoy the Gallery’s sculpture garden, commissioned by a local artist, which features native plant and animal statues reaching up to 12 feet in height. Construction entailed concrete footings, load-bearing masonry, wood and truss structural framing, siding exterior, and single-ply roofing with shingles.
