The Merrill Gardens at ChampionsGate project included the new construction of a 231,000-square-foot senior complex in ChampionsGate, FL. The complex houses a four-story, 132-unit independent living facility, a two-story, 56-unit assisted living facility, and a 36-unit memory care center. The project features a swimming pool, fitness area, dining room, and a movie theater. Construction consisted of a concrete slab-on-grade foundation with spread footings, a structural frame of concrete masonry unit block walls, high country flooring, wood trusses, a concrete exterior with stucco, and a concrete barrel tile roof. Merrill Gardens at ChampionsGate now provides individualized care to senior residents in the Orlando area.
