The Loretta Zumbro Elementary School project, completed in Buckeye, AZ, involved the new construction of five single-story buildings totaling 77,545 square feet, along with extensive on-site and off-site improvements. Funded primarily by the School Facilities Division of the Arizona Department of Administration and partially by the district, each building on the new campus was designed for a specific function: Building A includes administration offices, a media center, and classrooms; Buildings B, C, and D are dedicated to classroom spaces; and Building E houses a multipurpose area with a platform, cafeteria, kitchen, and additional classrooms. The completed project established a modern, state-of-the-art campus that provides an innovative learning environment and supports the district’s mission to prepare students for the opportunities of tomorrow.
