The Royse City City Council and members of the city administration and Royse City Fire Department joined together on August 5 for the ceremonial groundbreaking of the Royse City Fire Station No. 1.

The new facility is being built at 300 South Erby Campbell Boulevard, next to the Walker Hawk Sports Park.

Contractors CORE Construction has scheduled an early morning concrete pour on Monday, August 17.
