The City of Fort Worth Police Department South Patrol Division project involved the construction of a new 33,000-square-foot station in Fort Worth, TX. Built on a concrete foundation, the facility features a tilt-up concrete frame, a masonry and metal panel exterior, and a single-ply roof. With security as a top priority, the station is equipped with level-eight bullet-resistant glazing and paneling. Additionally, a detached flare building is included for the storage and disposal of safety devices. The main office building is designed with a storm shelter and includes 14 rooftop HVAC units, along with a 600-gallon diesel generator for backup power. This new facility stands as a pillar of public safety excellence, providing a centrally located station to support police response services for the rapidly growing South Division of Fort Worth, TX.
