The Campos Parole and Corrections project, built for the Nevada State Public Works Divison, included select demolition and the new construction of a five-story, 188,061-square-foot municipal office building and structured parking garage located in Las Vegas, NV. The facility houses the Nevada Department of Public Safety’s Division of Parole and Probation, which provides monitoring, supervising, and re-integrating of offenders. The project also contains three levels of offices, a walk-up entrance, an open lobby, a roof garden terrace, and secured entrances to interior office spaces. The project received LEED Silver Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for sustainability and green construction features. The project was constructed of a concrete structural frame, poured terrazzo floors, recycled glass aggregate, and floor plates for maximizing daylighting in public and secured areas.
