The Old High School project, completed for Churchill County School District, involved the renovation and modernization of a 100-year-old, 54,000-square-foot high school located in Fallon, NV. The historic facility houses the district’s sixth-grade students and district administration offices, and provides support space for district and community functions. Modernications included structural upgrades including seismic reinforcement of the original footings and foundations and interior upgrades inclusive of new heating ventilation systems, air conditioning, electrical, low voltage, life safety, and finish systems. The project involved extensive restorations, allowing the school to serve as a modern and safe facility while still maintaining its original, historic beauty.
