The Mabee Hall Renovation and Addition project involved selective demolition, renovation, and a three-story, 5,075-square-foot expansion to the residence hall on the Abilene Christian University campus in Abilene, TX. The demolition phase included removing precast concrete panel walls and a sloped steel roof structure on the building’s east side. New construction introduced common areas on each of the three floors, along with an elevator and stairwell. Additionally, the lounge, huddle, and study spaces were revitalized. This extensive renovation and addition has enhanced the residence hall’s ability to support Abilene students’ living and learning needs.
