The Lawler Middle school project, built for the Frisco Independent School District, included the new construction of a 150,000-square-foot middle school campus located in Frisco, TX. The project features 56 classrooms, science laboratories, and computer labs for students in sixth through eighth grade. The project also includes a library space, a gymnasium, an industrial kitchen, and cafeteria. Exterior work consisted of installing two lighted tennis courts, competition athletic fields with a four-lane running track, discus and shotput pads with safety cages, multi-event area runways and landings, and a 218-slot capacity parking lot including ADA compliant spaces. The middle school campus was constructed on a slab-on-grade concrete foundation with a frame of insulating concrete form, concrete masonry unit block, and structural steel, an exterior consisting of brick, stone, and composite panels, and a modified bituminous roof.
