The Northeast Community Park project, built for the City of Frisco, included the new construction of a 74-acre, 40,000-square-foot municipal park, pavilions, and concession buildings located in Frisco, TX. The park contains eight fully lighted multi-purpose athletic fields, a lighted skate-park with covered observation pavilion, an independent covered pavilion adjacent to a sand volleyball court, and two concession and restroom buildings. The project also features walking trails throughout the park with bench seating, a children’s playground area, picnic tables, tennis and basketball courts, a stocked pond with fishing pier, and four paved parking lots to accommodate more than 900 vehicles. The pavilions and concession buildings were constructed of a foundation consisting of concrete grade beams, a steel structural frame, concrete masonry unit block and tilt-walls, a masonry exterior, and a standing seam roof. The Northeast Community Park now offers an exceptional recreational facility with a variety of activities for all ages in the community of Frisco.
