The Huffhines Recreation Center project, completed for the City of Richardson, involved the new construction of a 25,000 square foot recreational facility in Richardson, TX. The recreational facility houses a full-sized gymnasium, a fitness facility, locker rooms, shower rooms, a sauna, a multi-purpose room, a dance studio, a performance room, an outdoor classroom area, a pool, and a pre-school education area. The recreational facility achieved Silver Certification for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design from the U.S. Green Building Council for innovation, sustainability, and energy efficiency. The Huffhines Recreation Center now provides an energy efficient neighborhood community center for all ages.
