The Toyota of Lewisville Railroad Park project, built for the City of Lewisville, included the new construction of a 274-acre municipal athletic complex located in Lewisville, TX. The facility functions as an outdoor recreational and competitive sports park for soccer, baseball and softball, and includes walking trails, a skatepark, and a dog park. The project also features ten lighted soccer fields with bleacher seating, four football fields with scoreboards, four baseball and softball fields with 400-foot outfield fences, three concession buildings with covered patios, restrooms, and a maintenance building. Site improvements consisted of storm sewer and utilities, irrigation runoff from local dams, three manmade lakes, and multiple shade structures. The municipal athletic complex was constructed using championship quality hybrid turf for the fields and concrete for parking lots and flatwork. The Toyota of Lewisville Railroad Park project helps to keep operating costs down while providing state-of-the-art first class recreational and competitive facilities to the community of Lewisville.
