The Historic Westside Legacy Park project included the new construction of a two-acre park commemorating the luminaries of the City’s Historic Westside. This park functions as a place of reverence for the Historic Westside community and larger African American experience. It features a museum-like design that takes visitors on an explorative journey of the unsung heroes from the Las Vegas Historic Westside. Designed with intention, this park will provide a safe space for people to use their platform, share their own stories, learn about the trailblazers before them, and be able to reflect on the past, present, and future.
