The Boulder City Hospital project, built by CORE SR a Joint Venture, included additions and renovations to the 24,000-square-foot medical campus located in Boulder City, NV. The facility supports a surgical center, an emergency room, a rehabilitation, and long-term care departments, and houses over 60 patient beds. The project also features a 10-bed geriatric psychiatric care unit, a 10-bed acute rehabilitation unit, and eight long-term care beds. The new additions were constructed of a concrete masonry unit and steel structural frame, exterior insulation finishing system exteriors, and single-ply roofs. Due to CORE’s coordination with hospital officials and effectively scheduling around the active facility operations, the Boulder City Hospital project was finished on time and budget with minimal disruption to patient care.
