The Arts District Garage project, built for the Performing Arts Community Improvement District, included the new construction of an underground, four-story, 1,700-space parking structure in downtown Kansas City, MO. The garage was constructed of cast-in-place concrete with post-tensioned concrete parking surfaces, concrete finish with curtainwall, skylights, storefronts, and a canopy. The garage features a green roof system which was integrated into the structure with post-tensioned concrete with foam, engineered landscaping, and a water capturing system for irrigation and gray water use. The Arts District Garage now provides an upgraded parking structure for patrons visiting the downtown areas of Kansas City, MO.
